The Odey Opportunity Fund is an investment fund which harnesses the proven top down macro skills of Odey's London Investment Team with the portfolio construction expertise of the Guernsey Team.
The Opportunity Fund is suitable for investors who are looking for an actively managed portfolio, combined with a level of diversification normally available only to clients with substantial funds to invest.
The Fund adopts a highly dynamic approach that seeks to identify the best available investment opportunities.
It is invested in a diversified portfolio of funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and other collective investment vehicles. Such funds will encompass both traditional long only, as well as long/short (Absolute Return) equity funds.
The Fund will also invest in other strategically well placed UCITS III funds and will diversify returns away from the stock market by investments in other asset classes such as bonds (including high-yield and corporate bonds), commodities and property.
